Despite a nearly 30-minute delay and no information about which bus was ours (another family and I were picked up in Larnaca), everything else went well. We picked up our guide, Ms. Kasia, in Larnaca, and from then on, she took excellent care of us. The bus was full, and the only free seat I could find had a broken window. I was allowed to sit right at the front, which I thought was nice. I found the whole trip to be a good mix of information, guidance, and free time. It was tiring (we were on the road all day), but it was a lot of fun with Ms. Kasia. She speaks several languages and is a great person. Thank you for the amazing day 😎👍

There was no contact with the organizer regarding the change of the pick-up location due to the street being closed (ceremonies) or confirmation that despite the street being closed there would be no change of pick-up location. The hikers were directed by locals from the bus stop to the bus station and there was a lot of running back and forth :( Unnecessary stress).

Full description

Our first stop is Kourion, one of the most important archaeological sites on the island. There you will have a chance to see the ancient Greco-Roman theatre where gladiator games were held.

Next stop is Petra tou Romiou, which is the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty and love. According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite was emerged from the sea, in white foam that brought her from Kythera in Greece to Cyprus.

An ancient legend states that anyone who swims around the Rock will be granted eternal beauty! Time will be given for photos before we proceed with our excursion.

Once in Pafos, you will have the chance to visit the House of Dionysos, which is famous for its unique mosaics. You will also have free time to relax and enjoy the area surrounding Pafos Harbour, one of the most visited and beautiful tourist resorts on the island.

At the end we will visit Tombs of The Kings included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The monumental underground tombs are carved out of solid rock and date back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods.
