Fantastic day out - our tour guide Michelle was incredible and shared so much knowledge throughout the tour (without being overkill during the long bus journey, which was greatly appreciated). The canyon hike itself was moderately difficult in just a few places, but overall I thought it was really quite an enjoyable hike at a perfectly manageable pace. The breakfast at kings creek was great and there was plenty of cold water provided on the bus. Highly recommend this tour! Thanks Michelle & Andrew for a memorable day.

Full description

Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the beautiful Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Once at Kings Canyon, you'll make the rock climb to its rim for some marvelous views of Watarrka National Park and the spectacular surroundings. Follow the rim of the canyon along the 3-hour circuit walk, stopping to look down into the canyon gorge at various look-out points along the way. Time permitting, you may choose to descend into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden.' While the tour is recommended for those with a good level of fitness, you may opt for the easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Then, you can grab lunch at your own expense. Finally, begin your return journey to Ayers Rock Resort.

It was one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip around Australia. Don't stop on Uluru. Uluru is more a cultural experience, and it's mandatory for sure. But if you want to touch the real Mather nature at the core of the Australian continent you must pick this incredible adventure into the Northern Territory. We had the chance to see selvatic horses and camels, in their natural environment, and climb one of the most ancient rock formations of the country. The trip require a good confidence in your phisical shape. We were lucky to be guided by Haily and Jackob that prepared us with the best support to make this experience safe and exiting at the same time. Thank you guys for your work, the Kings Canyon ring walk will last in our memories for long long time.
