Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the beautiful Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Once at Kings Canyon, you'll make the rock climb to its rim for some marvelous views of Watarrka National Park and the spectacular surroundings. Follow the rim of the canyon along the 3-hour circuit walk, stopping to look down into the canyon gorge at various look-out points along the way. Time permitting, you may choose to descend into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden.' While the tour is recommended for those with a good level of fitness, you may opt for the easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Then, you can grab lunch at your own expense. Finally, begin your return journey to Ayers Rock Resort.

2. Uluru and Kata Tjuta Tour with Base Walk and Sunset BBQ

Get picked up from the Ayers Rock Resort and journey by luxury coach with an on-board toilet to the sacred rock of Uluru. Make your way towards the majestic domes of Kata-Tjuta for your first walk of the day. Visit the Cultural Centre and learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people before going to Uluru (Ayers Rock) to take part in a base walk. Follow the Mala walk along the northwest face of the rock to see fine examples of Anangu rock art.  Then, head to the Mutitjulu Waterhole for your 2nd base walk at the home of an ancestral watersnake called Wanampi. Share some stories of the local traditions and learn about the legendary Dreamtime. Sip a glass of sparkling wine and take in the beautiful sunset while your dinner is prepared by your guides. Enjoy a tasty barbecue outdoors as you marvel at the views. Be amazed as the rock changes color before your eyes as the sun sinks over the horizon.

Enjoy a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the base of Uluru. Upon arrival at the Segway base area, your tour guide will provide you with comprehensive Segway training. You'll take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride on your Segway. Afterward, you'll be ready for your guided tour of the magical Uluru, also known by its non-native name, Ayers Rock. Departing from Kuniya carpark located at the base of Uluru, you'll be led by our fully qualified and knowledgeable guide into the iconic Mutitjulu Waterhole to explore the sights and sounds. This is one of Uluru's lesser-known hidden gems. Then quietly and effortlessly cruise around the entire base of Uluru on your Segway. Take in all the highlights of the rock and learn about local Anangu culture, flora, fauna, geology, and the European history of the area from your knowledgeable guides. Get up close and personal with picturesque landscape, ancient Aboriginal culture, and the history of Uluru. Immerse yourself in the outback landscape that the Central Australian region is famous for. 4. Alice Springs: Coach Transfer to Ayers Rock Resort

Travel from Alice Springs to Uluru (Ayers Rock) aboard a luxury coach. Enjoy the rugged desert landscapes and the scenic views as you pass through the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges. On this 6-hour transfer you’ll stop at a camel farm and learn about the impact camels had in opening up Central Australia. Camels, ideally suited to the hot, dry climate of Australia’s interior, were imported in the 19th century and remained the principal means of outback transport until railways and roads were established. You’ll have a chance to ride a camel during your visit (not included in the tour price). While travelling through this remote country, your driver/guide will provide informative and entertaining commentary. Learn about the region’s natural and geological history, and about the unique Australian desert flora and fauna. The Perentie monitor lizard, the thorny devil, and the red kangaroo make their home here. You’ll also hear about the traditional customs and beliefs of local Aboriginals. There will be time for a stop at the Erldunda road house for a quick break. Take in the views of flat-topped Atila (Mt. Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) where your Driver Guide will explain the geological development of the area over the millennium. Watch the spectacular sunrise over Kata Tjuta with Uluru in the distance from the western dune viewing area, and enjoy a light breakfast. Your Driver Guide will then escort you on a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. Marvel at the unique flora and admire the view of the central valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta. Travel in a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the base of Uluru, an impressive sandstone rock formation. Upon arrival at the Segway base area, you'll be led by your fully qualified and knowledgeable guide into the iconic Mutitjulu Waterhole to explore its sights and sounds. This is one of Uluru's lesser-known hidden gems. You will also be taken to see some authentic Aboriginal rock art art. Your guide will provide you with Segway training, giving you a chance to take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride of your Segway. Afterward, you'll be ready for your guided tour of magical Uluru (the native name of Ayers Rock). You will quietly and effortlessly cruise a quarter of this enormous rock's base on your Segway. After pick up from Ayers Rock Resort, join your guide to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. The tour will travel through the outback landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Your first step allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, journey toward the base. Walk with your guide to a place of tranquillity. The closer you wander the more you surrender to the realization of the sheer size of this monolith. As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (dreaming) stories. You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You will then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area for sunset where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background. See the colours of the rock and sky change before your eyes. Enjoy some sparkling wine and light, delicious refreshments. Your guide will then return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

Get a thorough briefing from the crew on arrival, and hear all the safety arrangements before you board the helicopter.  Get awe-inspiring views of the Red Center scenery as you fly towards the sacred rock of Uluru and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Fly over the western face of Mount Olga to take postcard-quality photographs of Uluru and Kata Tjuta in one spectacular shot. Experience Kata Tjuta on a 3-hour afternoon tour. Your guide will pick you up from your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation in a comfortable vehicle fitting a maximum of 11 passengers. You will then travel to Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, a place where unique flora and fauna thrive. As you drive to Kata Tjuta you’ll notice the 36 domes that comprise Kata Tjuta . See how the formation changes before your eyes as you drive around to approach the four main domes. Learn how the impressive landscape has formed over millions of years. You'll be in awe as you walk between the massive domes. Learn of the many attributes of this diverse environment and the cultural significance it holds to the Anangu, the local Aboriginal people. Optional audio guides are available in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Mandarin. After the tour, your guide will return you to your hotel at Ayers Rock Resort in time for dinner.

The most you can possibly make out of a one day trip to the outback :) it was a really lovely tour, that included all the must-do‘s! Especially the tour guide Glen and the driver Martin made the experience unique! Can highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the tour, John and Jakob made it extra special with their good sense of humour and overall kindness. The landscape is absolutely amazing and you just feel awed of such Beauty. So majestic!!
