Overall rating
We participated in the tour in July 2024. We were informed that Valensole was harvested before the scheduled tour date and we would not be able to see it. Our guide, Arnaud, found the best lavender field instead!!! and it was a very special and unique tour! Not only did we learn about the types of lavender, how to harvest and dry it at a very nice local farmer, but we were also able to buy freshly harvested bouquets directly, which was a wonderful experience that you would never get on other large tours. Of course, we visited the famous lavender fields (photo spot), but we also was able to enjoy the lavender fields in a hidden spot just for us, so I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for that kind of tour.
Anna Maria was a wonderful guide and she shared engaging stories and facts about Avignon. I very much appreciated her wealth of knowledge and the interesting stoos on our tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who want to discover tge history of this lovely city!
