If you choose the time of year well you can see lavender

Afternoon excursion (5h) with visit to Gordes, Sault and stops along the way in lavender fields. It is important to know when the lavender season is. We went at the end of July and we could even see some. I do not recommend going in August, all the fields are mowed. Overall we liked the tour as it met our goals.

Great experience and great tour guide!!

We loved our day trip and had a great time. The guide was so friendly and was so patient always looking for photo spots for us and giving us tips on where to get the best photos. Tip would be go to the rest room when you get your chances as at times it takes a while before there is one.

Worth the price with our gracious driver Thierry.

Unfortunately we ran out of time and the last 45-60 minutes of our tour (both Gourde and the Abbey) were rushed. We were given a choice between another village and the Abbey which I appreciated. I strongly suspect that the silence from the rest of the passengers was in good part because they really didn't understand what he was asking. It seemed that 4 out of the 7 passengers had limited English knowledge I respect that Thierry made the final decision to follow the outline. Just something to think about (the language barrier). Thierry was a very thoughtful and courteous tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and was patient and respectful to all of the passengers. A huge thank you for driving us to our home for the night.
