Unfortunately we ran out of time and the last 45-60 minutes of our tour (both Gourde and the Abbey) were rushed. We were given a choice between another village and the Abbey which I appreciated. I strongly suspect that the silence from the rest of the passengers was in good part because they really didn't understand what he was asking. It seemed that 4 out of the 7 passengers had limited English knowledge I respect that Thierry made the final decision to follow the outline. Just something to think about (the language barrier). Thierry was a very thoughtful and courteous tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and was patient and respectful to all of the passengers. A huge thank you for driving us to our home for the night.
Efficient office, prompt arrival of our guide who was very good - pleasant, friendly, informative. Billed as a tour of Avignon but did not go beyond the area around Le Pont, the gardens above it, the cathedral and Le Palais des Papes. Nice little spot chosen for a glass of wine at the end of the tour. Possibly a bit pricy for what it was.
Thierry Rakoto did a fantastic job finding purple-blue lavender fields for us to photograph so late in the season. It was a big bonus that he speaks flawless English and was very knowledgeable about lavender and the area.
We had a wonderful tour through beautiful areas to see lavender and learn more about it. Thierry was a fabulous driver and guide. Lavender ice cream was a special treat and visit to local farm. Highly recommend.
The driver was very friendly, he provided many interesting facts about the area on the road. The stops were well chosen.
