We had a great time learning about the Roman ruins in Provence. Since we were traveling by train, it was nice to see a little bit of the towns outside of our base in Avignon. Our guide was from the area and he was very adaptable to changing situations, even when there was a miscommunication on the meeting point the app gave us. We had a great day in the end!

We were the only two people on the tour so we travelled by car with our guide, Gus. Gus was very friendly and knowledgeable and he accompanied us on the whole tour, apart from entering the arena in Nimes which we had to do ourselves. Pont du Gard was very interesting and we also visited the museum. Uzes was a lovely little town - we could easily have spent more time there. In Nimes we entered the Arena and wandered around but we didn’t have any other time to see any other sites in Nimes. We could also have spent more time there. All in all, it was a good tour though with a good guide.

Although it rained for the duration of our tour, we'd a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was very sociable and informative. I would like to suggest that some form of step should be provided to enable the less able to climb into your minibus. Having booked tickets to enable us to jump the queue, there wasn't any queue. I feel that this was an unnecessary additional charge and as such the difference should be paid back to us together with compensation for misguided information.
