Go to Mexico once and get a first impression. That was the goal and the tour is perfect for that. Tijuana is not incredibly attractive but with a guide there is still a lot to see. Carlos put a lot of effort into it and you could feel his love for his city. Everything was well organized. Crossing the border in both directions was easy. Carlos kept in touch via WhatsApp and was waiting for us on the Mexican side. Car parked in San Ysidro for 8 USD right at the border. During the tour we had two tequila samples, good tacos and a few sweets. Security was not a problem and despite the visible poverty, the people were unobtrusive and friendly...

Nice tour to check out the other side of the border. Walking seeing different sites in the first part of the tour. Light lunch and tequila tasting in the second part of the tour. Some free time to buy souvenirs. Transportation in Mexico is provided. The guide drops you in front of the border line. It took us 40 minutes to cross back. Felt safe overall. We were the group of 14 people. Big thanks to Tadeo, our tour guide. He made sure that we are ok, polite, funny, entertaining person. He lives in Tijuana and knows the city well.

Sara was a great guide. Super bubbly and social, knowledgeable about the area. Had a great time throughout the tour. Only thing to take into consideration is the time it takes to cross the border back into the USA. The queue was over an hour when I got back to the border so if you’re short of time maybe don’t do it.

Our tour guide Tadeo was excellent!! He demonstrated a lot of knowledge and he was always open to answer questions.

Very kind and friendly guide nice tour of the city. Recommended!
