See Gospodska Street, the Post Office, Hotel Central, Town Museum, and the House with a Sundial, then reach the top of the hill, we’ll see the remains of the Zemun citadel that are still standing together with The Millennium Tower in the center, Zemun’s central landmark. Go down the Gardos Hill to the town center and reach the Main City Square with the Bishop’s Office and the Roman Catholic Church of the Blessed Virgin from the 18th century. Cross the Gazela Bridge and head for Dedinje – Belgrade’s most luxurious residential area. See some of the mansions in the city, perfectly nestled in the greenery and serenity of Topčider Hill. Spot the country’s biggest soccer stadium, the home of Red Star Belgrade. Leave the city and head towards Avala, Belgrade’s green mountain. Situated less than 20 km south of the city center, it is one of Belgrade’s most popular green areas, a perfect spot for recreation, picnic, or just enjoying nature. Drive through green forests until we reach the highest spot of Avala with the Monument to the Unknown Hero. After that, go down to the second largest hilltop of Avala, 440 m high, where Avala tower is situated. Coming from Avala, visit the Vračar area, where you can see one of Belgrade’s most prominent landmarks – The Church of St. Sava (also known as St. Sava Temple), one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Through Slavija Square, enter Nemanjina Street with almost all state governmental institutions: Government Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Staff of Serbian Army, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Finance, the State Court, etc. Later, stop in front of the Parliament Building, where you'll take a short break to take pictures. Round off the tour at Republic Square, the heart of the capital, where the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions are situated.

Take a short coffee break before heading further with the tour. See some of the most important examples of the architectural styles of Zemun as you stroll along the river bank. Climb up Gardos Hill – the heart of Old Zemun. Its curvy cobblestone streets and tiny houses will give you the impression that Zemun is a melting pot of Mediterranean and Central European cultures. The next part of the tour involves the elite district of Dedinje with edifices of exceptionally high architectural value. Driving from Dedinje, catch a glance at the stadium of FC Red Star, a former Champions League winner. After a visit to the spectacular monument to the Unknown Hero of WWI, the work of the most significant sculptor of Yugoslavia, climb the Avala Tower via the elevators for fantastic views of the city. Hop back in the car and travel next to the hill of Vračar, crowned with Saint Sava Temple. This symbol of Belgrade, with its white and gold exterior beautifully dazzling in the sunlight, has a prominent place in the Belgrade skyline, reflecting the strong Christian Orthodox faith of Serbian. Arrive at Slavija Square and see the remains of the Serbian General Staff building, destroyed during the NATO bombing of 1999. After passing Terazije Square with its remarkable hotel Moskva, see Republic Square, the most central point of Belgrade, before the tour concludes.

Take a look over the Belgrade from observation deck of Avala Telecommunication Tower placed on Belgrade’s tallest mountain. Destroyed in Nato bombarding in 1999, it resurrected from the ruins in 2010. Cross over the Ada bridge above Sava river. The bridge whose construction is shown on Discovery channel and is the biggest single pillion bridge in Europe. Pass through the gates of Belgrade – Western gate, Geneks twin towers connected with bridge on the 26th floor and Eastern gate, Rudo buildings both built in brutalism style. You’ll see the “Sava” Center, the project built for the needs of the Conference on European Security and Cooperation held in Belgrade in 1977, that was first and biggest conference center in former Yugoslavia. Here you can examine structural design of polyhedral buildings of this huge complex. You’ll stand in front of the Palace of Serbia, ex Federal Executive Council, spectacular building of late modernism that shows how design can represent the ruling ideology. Enormous but elegant structure was the first project of New Belgrade after the WwII.

Avala is Belgrade's mountain located a 1-hour drive from Belgrade. It has a lot of protected species of animals and plants. The mountain is made of serpentinite, limestone, and magmatic rocks and is a source of lead and mercury ore. Our tour starts at 10:00. Our vehicle will pick you up at your address. Afterward, when we come to the Avala we meet with the unknown hero, a monument of Russians died in an airplane crash, the place of the former tower Zrnov, and of course viewpoint from the highest point in Belgrade.
