Our tour guide Ike was awesome and very personable and knowledgeable.
A brilliant day out! Our guide Luke was fabulous at breaking the ice amongst our small group and keeping us entertained with facts and stories throughout our visit. We started with an early lunch at Salt Lick BBQ - sooo good! - and then visited two beautiful wineries where you could choose to try the wine tasting flights (both were under $25 each and great value for money) or enjoy a glass in their grounds. There was enough time to stop in the gift shops (all our wine made it back to Scotland intact, hurrah!). The bus trip itself was very comfortable and a great way to see the stunning rolling landscape of Wine Country. By the time we returned into Austin the group were great friends and ended up informally continuing our tour into a nearby speakeasy!
