What people are saying about Auschwitz, Poland

Very interesting trip. Although it is a long day both these activities are worth doing and if you’re in Krakow for only a short amount of time it’s worth combining them. The time on the transport (nice mini bus) is a good rest. Can save money by going on public transport but the ease of this trip made it worth paying the extra.

Organization of the trip at the highest level. At the beginning of the day, the group leader handed out stickers and tickets to everyone. It is very important to have your passport with you. The security in the museum is very strict, they check like at the airport.

I advise you to visit the museum only with a guide. Ours was wonderful, without him I would not have been able to fully feel the atmosphere of this place. There are also several bookstores near the museum, where you can buy books in different languages.

Very practical, great value. Tour at Auschwitz 1 felt a bit rushed and the tourguide was hardly audible. Lunch could have been planned somewhat earlier (4 o'clock now). Tour guide at the salt mines was great.

Emotions cannot be compared with either books or films. But you should only visit this place with a guide. His stories touched much more than the museum itself.
