I personally thought the salt mine was quite underwhelming from an aesthetic POV, however the history and the facts on it are incredible. Auschwitz was something else… it was quite an emotional place to be, but a very important part of history that needs to be remembered. But whatever you do, DO NOT buy the food there! It’s completely overpriced and passable at best. I made the mistake of not purchasing food before hand, therefore fell hungry which lead to be buying their horrible quality food. It’s the most expensive I’ve seen food like that for those prices in Poland. As for the tour itself, I would’ve preferred more communication/confirmation when we were getting picked up, as on the morning of the tour, I wasn’t too sure if the bus was coming or not due the guide not replying to my emails. However, overall, a very good experience for your money!

Well worth the full day trip. It’s a busy day but lots to see so it doesn’t drag. Coach was comfy and the driver on time and friendly. The only downside was the speed we were rushed through auschwitz (lots of tours there, weekends are very busy). We would’ve have liked to stay at displays a bit longer to read the information.

Pick up was confirmed via What'sApp the day prior and was super flexible (we had to change hotels pretty last minute) - we were collected just 2 minutes down the road from our hotel with a mini bus. Drop off was just as flexible with the option to get off in the city center or any of the other points people were picked up from in the morning. All guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
