Guide was very friendly. Had a great time and would highly recommend it.
Our wineries tour on Waiheke Island was absolutely unforgettable. The island is breathtaking, lush vineyards, stunning ocean views, and an easy, relaxed vibe that sets the tone for the perfect day of wine tasting. What truly made the experience exceptional was our driver, No’ora (not sure I spelt it correctly). From the start, he was friendly, professional, and full of great local knowledge. The wineries themselves were top-notch, each offering a unique experience, view their spectacular views. If you’re planning a trip to Waiheke and want to do it right, make sure No’ora’s the one showing you around. You won’t regret it.

Know before you go
- This tour will take place rain or shine. Please note that if Vineyard 372 is unavailable, we will dine at Thomas Batch Vineyard instead. All vineyard visits are subject to availability.
- You will need to catch a ferry to Waiheke Island, where we will pick you up at Matiatia Wharf. We ask that you arrive on the island by 10:40 AM. We recommend using the Island Direct ferry service as you can reserve a seat. Alternatively, you can purchase a walk-up ticket for the Fullers Ferry departing at 10 AM. If you are staying on Waiheke Island at accommodation please call us to advise pick up.
- If you have any concerns about the ferry, I have a detailed page on my website that provides clear information. Please take a look.. https://waiheke-winetours.co.nz/getting-to-waiheke-island/
