The Aquarium remains one of Auckland's leading attractions. Sea Life Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium is just a 10-minute drive (6 km/3.7 mi) from downtown Auckland. See the cool and calm king penguins and cheeky gentoos interact and swim past as you walk through the Penguin Ice Adventure exhibit. Touch a starfish or two at our Rockpool. Learn about our turtle rehabilitation program. Stand in awe underneath the Shark Tunnel as great sand tiger sharks, giant stingrays swim past and try find the hiding carpet shark Wobbegong. Explore Seahorse Kingdom to see the world's only public display of the rarely seen spiny sea dragons.

Quite good. The Antartic exhibition was great. Loved watching the rays glide overhead. But.... what is your point of difference to other marine aquariums? You need to highlight this. The revolving walkway is not innovarive. In the main area of the exhibit where a keeper does their talk, the acoustics are poor & the playground drowns out alot of the talk. However it was a good few hours.

Shuttle from Customs and Commerce was helpful and efficient. If you are short on time, it is possible to jettison through and see most things in under an hour. Save time for the penguins-a highlight for us. The moving walkway is generally packed, be prepared.
