We were 5 to participate in this tour including 2 people of 65 years old and a child of 9 years old. The van is very comfortable and spacious. The sites to visit do not require too much effort and are easy to access. It's a tour full of magic, we loved it. The Hobbiton-Rotorua-Waitomo combination is done well because the journey is magical from start to finish. The buffet at Te Puia is quite varied, there is something for everyone, and the desserts are good. Our guide Edson, very kind but also very interesting, is the soul of this tour. During the journeys (about 2 hours for each section) he gave us a lot of information about the culture, historical facts, geological formations, also made us jokes and even magic tricks! It's simple, my daughter loved it more than anything else!

First I will say that all three excursions were excellent, and our guide Andy was very knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint is when I called the day before the excursion to confirm my reservation and pickup, I was told that I would have to pay an additional $80 for transport. I was confused because our hotel was listed as a pickup point on the website as well as my reservation confirmation. In fact, I booked this particular hotel because it was one of the pickup points listed. After much discussion on the phone, I finally agreed to pay the $80 because we wanted to see these sites and I didn't have time to change bookings. I was very disappointed in this last minute charge. The Quest Highbrook should be removed from the options, or it should indeed be a pickup point.

Phenomenal and unique tour hitting all three of the major "must-sees" a couple of hours outside or Auckland. Our guide was one of a kind and made the trek between the three sites memorable and enjoyable. If you're short on time and want to create instant memories, book this without hesitation.
