What to Expect
You will be enchanted by the the sparkling waters of the Waitemata Harbor, with Rangitoto Island standing guard over the city and yachts and ferries plying its waters. The many beautiful city beaches are the playground of those fortunate to call this city home.

Highlights of the city showcased on this tour, guided by a New Zealand born local, include driving along Auckland’s beautiful waterfront Tamaki Drive to the lookouts of Achilles Point and Bastion Point. You drive up winding roads to see panoramic views from the summit of either Mt Eden or One Tree Hill.

The scented and colorful Wintergarden and its cool and calming Fernery walk in Auckland’s Domain is a peaceful retreat from the noise of the city in a large central city park. You pass through exclusive inner city suburbs, viewing colonial houses and gardens and luxury beachfront apartments on this exclusive small group tour. The historic suburb of Parnell has many picturesque shops, boutiques and art galleries housed in converted Kauri villas.

See stunning West Coast beaches with their iron sands and wild surf. From October to March get close to the precarious nesting places of beautiful gannets and little grey terns which cling to rocky outcrops and escarpments. Ample time is given for wine tasting at a number of award winning vineyards set in rolling green countryside. Lunch is provided at either a winery or a cafe and with a maximum of 6 in the group, you are assured of personal attention from your friendly New Zealand born guide.
