Full description

Start your journey from the meeting point and get picked up by your driver. On your first stop, dress up in traditional Berber clothes and enjoy a 30-minute camel ride. Then visit a female-run argan oil cooperative for a bread and oil tasting paired with Moroccan tea. Next, drive to the picturesque village of Imlil at 1740 meters altitude which will be the starting point of your hike. Wander past flowing rivers, walnut trees, and traditional Berber villages along the way. Stop at a local Berber house and take in spectacular views from the roof terrace. Continue the hike to a Berber ecolodge and savor a delicious Berber lunch prepared by the local staff the lodge. After lunch, continue the walk and explore the scenic landscape including a spectacular waterfall. Your driver will then take you back to Marrakech where you'll return around 5:30 PM. Saturday tours also include a visit to a local Berber farmers market.

Esperienza particolare e suggestiva. Siamo partiti dal punto di incontro stabilito ed abbiamo incontrato le nostre guide. Durante il viaggio ci siamo fermati in una cooperativa di donne che produceva olio di argan dove ci hanno offerto una breve colazione seguita da una descrizione delle tecniche di produzione dell'olio. Abbiamo proseguitò per fare un tour sul cammello e ahimè a me è toccato quello zoppo!!! Purtroppo non mi è piaciuta molto ma poi siamo saliti verso le montagne berbere con la nostra guida super simpatica e attenta. Abbiamo camminato tanto in salita ma la fatica merita lo spettacolo delle cascate e della vista delle montagne. Abbiamo infine pranzato nella guest house ed assaggiato la cucina locale davvero deliziosa. È stata una esperienza particolare fuori dalla caotica Marrakech che ci ha fatto evadere e rilassare in dei paesaggi davvero mozzafiato! Raccomandatissima!

Diese Tour war der perfekte Tag. Ein freundlicher, zuvorkommender Fahrer hat uns in die Berge gefahren, wo wir von einem mehrsprachigen, lustigen und ortskundigen Führer durch die Berberdörfer geführt wurden. Unsere Highlights waren der Kamelritt, der Besuch bei der Frauenkooperative des Arkansas, die Wasserfälle, die Wanderung in beeindruckender Landschaft und das fantastische Essen in einer Ecolodge. Wir können diese Tour jedem ans Herz legen, der einen traumhaften Tag im Atlasgebirge verbringen möchte. Danke an Idriz und Abdul.

What a fantastic experience! Rachid is such an amazing guide, and there was a good variety of activities included during the trip! One of the highlights was definitely the lunch at the EcoLodge - probably one of the most beautiful settings I've ever experienced whilst enjoying a delicious Tajine. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a day trip when visiting Morocco!
