Meet your guide at the Behold Monument at the entrance to the King National Historical Park. Listen to amazing stories of civil rights leaders that seamlessly weave through the history of Martin Luther King JR, the civil rights movement, and the city of Atlanta. Learn about the work of Dr. King with a visit to the Freedom Hall of the King Center. See the Ebenezer Baptist Church, the church where he served as co-pastor with his father. Visit Prince Hall Grand Lodge, which was the headquarters of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference during the 1960s. Visit the King Center and see a variety of photos and artifacts related to his life. Take in the phenomenal views at the Jackson Street Bridge. I knew seeing the Martin Luther King Jr Historical sites were high on my priority list. But being I am from AZ, I did not know the area. So my friend and I were delighted to find a tour. I did not have high expectations, but hoped they would at least know where to take us. Leigh was a spectacular tour guide! We saw so many historical sites away from the center! And her knowledge was above an beyond what we were expecting. So grateful for her guidance.
