Full description
Discover Atlanta in a fun and exciting way by gliding around on Segway. Learn about the rich culture and history as you explore some of the eclectic neighborhoods of this fascinating southern city. Choose one of three tours to explore different parts of Atlanta. Each segway tour begins with a 15-20 minute training session so that you feel safe and comfortable as you hit the streets on these vehicles.  On the Eastside Atlanta 2.5-hour tour, see the historic sites and neighborhoods of Atlanta on a relaxed tour that takes an in-depth look at the city’s history and culture. Meet your group at the meeting point and set off, avoiding the busy sidewalks and congested streets. Go to the Inman Park neighborhood to explore Atlanta's first planned suburb, established back in the 1890’s. Continue to the Martin Luther King National Park, located at his boyhood home on Auburn Avenue. Explore the traditionally African American neighborhood of Old Fourth Ward (O4W), where King grew up. Go to the Historic Oakland Cemetery, one of Atlanta’s largest green spaces. Cruise through Grant Park, Atlanta’s oldest public park, and look out for the renovated mill in the artistic Cabbagetown district. Along the way, your guide will stop to introduce you to some of the city's specialty stores and there may even be the chance for food tastings along the way.  On the Midtown Atlanta 2.5-hour tour, experience the soaring skyscrapers and leafy neighborhoods of Atlanta and enjoy great views of architecture and urban nature. Pass the modern skyscrapers of the Midtown Business District en route to the lovely houses of Ansley Park. Marvel at a diverse range of building styles, from opulent Tudor homes to Craftsmen and Italian Renaissance buildings in the heart of the city. Discover one of the fastest growing areas of Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park, bordered by many of the city's top attractions. Glide into Midtown, known for its diversity of restaurants that you cane come back and visit some of them after the tour. Pass the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of America’s top research universities, distinguished by its commitment to improving the human condition through advanced science and technology. Then, escape the hustle and bustle of the city center as you roll past the lush landscape of Atlanta Botanical Garden. Continue to Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s “Common Ground” since 1904, always alive with a range of outdoor activities.  The Downtown Atlanta 90-minute evening tour is a leisurely journey through historic Downtown Atlanta. From Atlanta’s early beginnings, the Centennial Olympics, and current day expansion. Come and see why the city is noted as the Capitol of the south. See sites including the Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, CNN Headquarters, World of Coke, Mercedes Benz Stadium, and Georgia State University. Venture into the historic Fairlie Poplar district of downtown. This tour is great for picture opportunities. You will learn, explore, and get sound recommendations on restaurants and other things to do in the area.

A wonderful tour of the East side on 11/12/21; and our guide, "Sister," as we were asked to call her, was phenomenal. You can tell she loves what she does by her contagious smile and fantastic demeanor. Safety of everyone on the tour was paramount from the initial briefing to every road hazard being communicated in a loud enough voice that you could hear her in the back of the line. Thank you, Sister, for such a wonderful experience!

Went on the Eastside tour which included MLK birthplace (home), final resting place, and some of the most beautiful graffiti art I have ever seen. A must see. Patrick and Cousin M are fabulous. Their safety protocols and training are second to none. We have done segway tours all over the world and have never had such extensive safety training. So for those of you who have never ridden a segway before, this is the place to do it.

First time on a Segway, and thoroughly enjoyed! Simple 15 minute training prior to going on the tour. Tour guide was great, very knowledgeable about the city of Atlanta. Whole tour lasted approximately 2 hours. Definitely recommend doing to get to know the city better!
