At the start of the tour, meet your dedicated guide at a hot spot for traditional Greek delicacies, where there are restroom facilities and you can purchase water or snacks.

Let your guide take you onto Pnyx Hill, which is the actual birthplace of democracy. Continue to immerse yourself in Ancient Greek history on a 50-minute tour of the world-famous Acropolis in Athens.

Admire the stunning architecture of the Parthenon Temple, learn the importance of the Erechtheion Temple, and hear myths and stories about ancient Athens.

After your guided tour, you have the option to stay on the hill to explore further at your own pace and enjoy the view over the city and up to the Aegean Sea.

Your guide will show you a different route towards the south exit so that you also see the Altar of Asclepius and the Theater of Dionysus, the birthplace of theater drama.

I loved this experience. Without a guide, my trip to the acropolis would have felt like an empty tourist attraction. This guide was exceptional. I was continuously impressed by her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. I also really appreciated being given transmitters for the audio. I was able to hear her without having to stay glued to her side. It was really fantastic. Exactly what I was hoping for and exceeded expectations. My only complaint is that I would have appreciated slightly more detailed directions to the meeting place. It was not obvious where to go after exiting the metro stop, and I ended up waiting at the wrong place for several minutes, as I don’t read Greek and I had no WiFi/network once I was away from my hotel.

This tour definately delivered, the group was small and we had a wonderfull tourguide (Natasha) who was passionately telling about the history of the multiple sites we visited during the walk. We said our goodbyes at the top of the Acropolis from which we could freely explore further on our own after the tour.

Our guide, Natasha was excellent. She really made the tour come to life with her knowledge and stories. The beginning tour was with a larger group but then it was just three of us, Natasha, myself and my friend. We continued to walk through the area checking out sites, eating baklava and spanikopita. Wonderful experience!
