Really friendly and knowledgable guides who made the trip very fun with some great history and myth retelling. There are some surprise stop offs on the way. The old theatre is great and the temple itself is wonderful (the €5 entrance fee is not included in your ticket price). We stopped off at a lake in the dark on the way back which we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The only negative was the stop off at the small town on the way to the temple as there isn’t much to see here, we should have stayed longer at the theatre / arrived at the temple earlier instead.

This was a very fun trip. Cape Sunion is so beautiful and feels so special. Unfortunately for us it was a bit cloudy so we did not see the sundown, but it was still worth it. Our guide Rula was wonderful, on the way there and back she gave us an amazing history lesson on ancient Greece and told us many myths. She also recommended a lot of things to do and visit while in Athens, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this trip!

We had 2 extra stops on our way to Cape Sounio which was a nice surprise. First to see an ancient theater and then to see a small harbor that had a very important role in Athen’s history. Cape Sounio is an amazing site, definitely worth the visit! The guide(s) and archeologists were also very knowledgeable and were a lot of fun!
