This was a super-awesome trip!!! Not to sound like I'm straight out of the 80s but seriously, this trip was amazing - I only wish it was a little longer so we could explore the monasteries a little longer, but as a day trip it's constrained by the local train schedule. Meteora is a beautiful place, the history is fascinating, and the tour guide we had was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!! We were on the go literally the entire time, it was such a fun trip - HIGHLY recommended. And I want to give a shout out to our guide, I don't remember his name & I apologize, but he was truly amazing - so, so knowledgeable & engaging, & our driver was great as well, much appreciation to them both!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Katarina was friendly, witty, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Meteora area all of the Monistaries and the Hermit Monks. She not only grew up in the area, she studied the history in school, certified by her PHD. The weather was unpredictable, in this late November tour but somehow we had the best of luck and the fog parted each time we arrived at a photo stop. Our Driver, I didn’t catch his name was also very friendly and safely drove our group to the best lookouts. He even offered to take pictures. Thank you for an excellent experience

This trip is great and worth it all in all! Our tour guide and our driver are the best, they even helped us with taking pictures and they are very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was how to figure out the train in Athens because it was quite confusing for someone who isn’t from here. We had to ask people about it so I think the solution is to go there earlier as you can so you won’t miss the train no matter what circumstance. The 4 hrs train ride to go and come back was okay as long as you’re prepared and have some snacks with you. I promise you it’s worth it!! I’ll come back again someday just to see the beauty of this place again.
