Great tour. Saw 3 monastries with plenty of time in each and had lots of stops for photos. Helpful and friendly guide. We were dropped off with plenty of time to grab something to eat before the train home. A note separate from the tour: Athens station was not signposted well. Trains to Meteora/Kalambaka depart from Platform 8. If in doubt, ask a member of staff.

Once you are on the tour, it is fairly organized. It is the best way to see as much monasteries in a short amount of time. My issue was the lack of communication if questions arises. Took nearly 15 days to get a response from GetYourGuide. Not very clear on what email to expect for train tickets as it will not be from GetYourGuide but the actual tour agency that they book with. For our booked tour, the guided tour did not start until your arrival to Kalambaka station.

This was an amazing day. The guide was great and very informative. The monasteries themselves are incredibly beautiful and the views are absolutely incredible. They stop for additional photos from great view points which was great. 3 things I would say for anyone booking - 1. bring cash as the monasteries don't accept card, 2. the skirts for women thing is easy to get around once you're there, you don't need to wear a skirt all day if it makes you uncomfortable as the guide has some spare to wrap around you over trousers to enter the monasteries, and 2 out of 3 of the places you visit also have wrap skirts available for free (one charges). and 3. if you're thinking of doing delphi as well I would suggest doing them both together with an overnight stay. I did them separately and it was a LOT of travel. Overall one of my highlights for Greece it was something I'll remember forever. TAKE A CAMERA.
