A must visit when you’re in Athens. It’s a day trip so don’t try to plan anything else on this day as you’ll be fairly tired. You need to take the train on your own to Kalambaka station (it’s long so carry snacks) Once you meet the guide you’ll stop for a quick toilet break and to restock on food for the day as you’ll need to eat on the go! You get to see great monasteries and learn stories about them which are very interesting. The views are It’s very different from the Greece you see on social media so definitely worth the visit!

It was January, the off-season, and the weather forecast was for rain. Enjoyed the best views. Since there were about 10 participants, we were all able to sit by the window. If it's not on the window side, it's about 30% lost. Eat lunch at the drive-in in 20 minutes! However, I was able to eat sausage pasta deliciously with plenty of room. If it's raining, the stairs are dangerous and you can't enjoy the scenery, so it's better not to go. It is better to go to a place with good weather, whether it is Turkey or Milan, on a day trip from Athens. Of course, if the weather is good, you can enjoy the scenery that is second to none.

The tour left punctually at the indicated time from the indicated place. First we stop at a cafeteria to have a coffee or go to the bathroom. Then we went to Meteora, we made several stops to look and take panoramic photos. We entered 3 monasteries and the other 3 looked at each other from the outside. Totally recommended.
