The first day was very helpful because I was picked up on time in the rain. The hotel was normally good. I'm very happy that even my forties were able to go around the temple on the first day within a reasonable range. On the second day, they hiked me to take me to a great viewpoint or cave, so I was able to use my time effectively. Young people recommend hiking. I really recommend it for two days a night.

Met us at the train depot as described and he took us to the hotel ?Rex downtown. Small but very clean rooms, decent morning breakfast too was included. Beware getting on the train in Athens because you have an assigned seat on the train in tiny print on the e-tickets. We hauled ourselves and luggage into the wrong train car. The cars have numbers on the doors .

Meteora is stunning and so unique - a sight not to be missed! The tour itself was well paced and allowed decent mix of free time and tour time. It was largely self guided. The hiking tour in the morning and our guide was a bonus - we saw a different side of Meteora and some hidden monasteries!
