We met in the square and made our way around the neighborhood tasting different Greek foods. It was a tasting and we were not entirely full at the end. Of the many things we tried, we enjoyed the Greek coffee, honeyed doughnuts, and charcuterie & hummus from the deli. It was nice to walk around with a local who was familiar with the area and foods.

Absolutely fantastic tour. We ate an incredible amount of food, well over your moneys worth. Athens can be super overwhelming with the amount of markets, cafes, restaurants.. this tour helped me understand what is going on and what is delicious and about Greek lifestyle. I learned quite a lot and was able to apply this knowledge when going to restaurants or markets by myself to buy something good or as gifts.

Amazing tour! This was one of our favorite things we did in Athens. Delicious food and an amazing way to see the city. Our tour guide Irene was so friendly and helpful! Not only did she tell us all about the food and show us amazing local spots, but she answered all our questions about the city, culture, and people. Can’t recommend her enough! We were also very impressed by the food. There were even more stops than we were expecting! We loved the local doughnuts, Greek pies, fruit, meats, cheeses, oils, and of course the authentic souvlaki! We walked away stuffed so come hungry! Probably our favorite part of the tour was walking through the central market though. It was great to see all the local vendors, different foods, and even sample a few things right there! Irene shared little details about everything we saw. We also especially loved what a small group this tour was! We may have come on a quiet day but when my wife and I went it was just us and Irene! The small group made it
