  • From November 1 to March 31: Wednesday to Monday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The museum was a great stop along the way. It was recommended by our hotel, so we took their advice. It took us about an hour or so to go through at our own pace. It was worth the money spent, and there were tons of artifacts to check out.

Full of historical finds of real items from different sites well displayed so can be seen at close to face and eye level ( some descriptions were too low to be easily read when light was low ) all halls of displays are good and not crowded from each other. Nice building with lots of natural light, one negative - when watching movie on middle floor so noisy in background as guides explaining to groups and general hubbub from passing public/ museum visitors so extremely difficult or impossible to hear sound from the movie- suggest screen off area and make it a theatre for enjoyable and informative viewing
