The initial boarding was quick and smooth. Our driver and our tour guide were both named Nikos. Our driver made the ride as painless as possible (Traffic jam in Athens but that couldn’t be helped.) WiFi on board worked well. Our coffee stop in Livadia was for about 25-30 minutes. I do wish that could have been a tad longer only because there were other tour groups at the stop which made service busy and just a tad slow. It rained during our time at the archaeological site but it wasn’t heavy enough to spoil the fun. Overall we spent about an hour and a half/hour and 45 minutes on the site. After we visited the site, we went to the museum which was about an hour. I felt like this was plenty of time for both the site and the museum. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Afterward we went to Arachova for lunch. I did get the included lunch package. I had the wild boar and potatoes which was yummy! The drive back was smooth. Overall I enjoyed the trip very much and would highly recommend!

Our guide, Michael, was phenomenal- his masters degree in Archeology was a bonus. He gave great explanations and commentary to what we were seeing. This tour was the best in our 3 weeks in Greece. He had a terrific sense of humor and was very entertaining. There is lots of uphill and downhill walking on this tour! It is a long day.
