Everything about getting to Meteora and exploring it was great. Our driver (Artos, I think?) on the way there was professional and skilled. The guide upon arrival, Katerina, was well spoken and very knowledgeable about the area. So many photo stops were break taking and enough time was given to also just take in the view. The food stops along the way were just okay- don’t count on them if you’re looking for something delicious or filling. The only real downer of the trip was that the ride back switched to a different driver who was very cranky and seemingly in a phone argument. When he took over, the AC suddenly stopped as did the WiFi. However, the professionalism of our first two leaders makes up for this and I can recommend this trip for those wanting to see the sights of Meteora by Athens.
What a great place to visit. Yes it’s a long trip from Athens but totally worth it. It was well organised, the guide was amazing and the lunch was excellent. Driver super friendly. Scenery spectacular. I was unlucky the day I went and there were bad storms in the afternoon but you can hardly blame the tour company for that lol. I also think this tour is good value for money for a 14 hour trip. ⭐️👍🏻
