Nice that we were able to board at the cruise port. The bus took us straight to the parking lot at the Acropolis. This is where the Athens route begins. Driving all three routes in one day is sporty better, you use them on 2 or 3 days so that there is more time to get off. Even in October, the buses were still full.

As expected. The audio on the bus as a tour guide was nice. If I had more time in Athens I would have preferred to walk to the main attractions but if you are short on time like I was it’s a good option instead of getting taxis or using the bus.

We started the tour at the port and then changed to the red line at the Colosseum. The tours were well timed. The drivers always clearly announced the stop and allowed sufficient time to get on and off and were very friendly. Unfortunately, there was no waiting zone at the port, you stood in the blazing sun for 30 minutes. only every second bus has a roof, which I think is essential in summer. Sometimes even older buses are used, where even I, with my height of only 1.80m, bump into the front seat with my knees. Other buses had more legroom. The buses with a roof have a small shortcoming. The two front rows of seats are well protected from the sun, but unfortunately there is no airflow there. The heat is on, you can hardly stand it. That's why the seats are free again after a short time. A fan would be nice here. There is no electricity for cell phones. Unfortunately, some of the headphone jacks were defective.
