After a week of history-heavy tours, I wanted something a little different for our 11 year old. This tour and guide Alex were excellent. It was a nice mix of history and mythology, which I enjoyed and hadn't expected. Having said that, due to the heat and crowds 4 hours was a bit too long for our son, and another family's teen sat out part of it, as well. I think if it had been a different time of year he would have enjoyed it more. Overall, this was great, but something to think about if you're wanting to book this with the kids in mind in August.

Nikos was an amazing tour guide. We got to check out all of the archeological sites that were promised on the tour! He was so knowledgeable about Greek mythology and he communicated the information and history so well! There were several members of our group that were older and had difficulty climbing the Acropolis. One younger woman actually fainted because of the extreme heat in our group. Nikos was so empathetic and understanding to everyone on the tour. It took a long time to get up the Acropolis on the day we went because it was so crowded, but Nikos finished the whole tour after an extra 90 minutes. He even bought us all lemonade at a local cafe! I would highly recommend this tour as well as Nikos as a tour guide!!Fantastic!!!!

We felt very lucky to have an inspiring and knowledgeable guide called Elli, a TV journalist who captivated us with many Greek mythology tales, including historical facts. She had an answer to every question and seemed to really enjoy her job. She coped brilliantly on a very hot day. Would highly recommend this tour.
