Must be the Best Way to visit the Acropolis

Our guide, Marina (?), was terrific. A very well-paced morning climb from the side entrance with informative stops in the shade made it comfortable even for those with trouble walking (like me). Marina's wealth of knowledge was awesome & interesting, and she was very good at handling our questions and needs. It would have been 5 stars if we could have taken the Plaka & Anafiotika parts, too, but they were canceled for 'technical reasons.' Exploring those areas on our own was far less satisfying than Marina would have made it.

I learned so much! The tour amplified my Acropolis experience!

Ani, our tour guide, was so great! We definitely benefitted by going early and by purchasing our tickets with the tour vs waiting in line as individuals. Ani told us so much about the Acropolis, about Ancient Greece, modern-day Greece, and more! I learned SO MUCH about what I was seeing. It definitely made my experience 100% better than I could have without her as our guide. I recommend taking the tour with Plaka afterward for all the same reasons, plus, having the guide show you the main sites is a great way to orient yourself in the city so that you can do your own sightseeing afterward. I can't say enough about how great this tour was - well worth your money! And Ani is incredible - so much info, and so much kindness and care for her tourists!
