A brilliant day trip from Athens with a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide called Eleni. Delphi is situated in a wonderful location on the slopes of Mount Parnassus and has a fascinating history. The museum is full of wonderful marble statues and treasures from the archaeological site. Lunch in the nearby village of Arachova was delicious and the nearby shops were interesting to browse in afterwards. The driver of our minibus got us back to Athens in record time and we had beautiful warm sunny weather all day.
Wonderful excursion to Delphi. Our guide was amazing. She wove together Greek myths and history into interesting stories, really bringing everything to life. Delphi itself is magical. Restaurant in Arachova was super. The day started with a huge traffic jam, but the driver (very patient) was able to change the route and get us there on time. Highly recommend!
