Choose either the 90-minute Athens route that begins at Syntagma Square, the 60-minute Piraeus route that starts out at the cruise terminal, or the 120-minute Riviera and beaches route with a starting point at the Acropolis.

There is an interchange bus stop at the Acropolis that connects all of the lines. These tourist-friendly city tours offer the opportunity to admire and stop and visit spectacular sites. From May to October, enjoy complimentary audio-guided walking tours of the surrounding areas of the Acropolis, Plaka, and the National Gardens.

In Athens, a city filled with historical and cultural monuments, you can hop off to explore the Acropolis and Parthenon archaeological sites. Take in the new Acropolis Museum and the Archaeological Museum. Explore picturesque Plaka and Monastiraki, where you’ll discover neoclassical buildings, archaeological findings, and souvenir shops. It's a wonderful idea, comfortable and cheap to get around the city, it's perfect. Be careful to stay outdoors above, especially if you start from the port because you pass by a sort of highway, so you go fast and there is lots and lots of air. In the centre, on the other hand, there is a lot of traffic so it is often stationary and not a nuisance. Nice experience though, I recommend it

We bought tickets for our first day arriving in Athens hoping for a relaxing ride about town. It was convenient enough to find a place to validate our tickets and board the bus but the conductor on site failed to alert us when the bus arrived at the very busy Syntagma Square so we ended up having to wait for the next bus. She also wasn’t very clear in her instructions where to transfer to the Piraeus Line but the bus driver was very helpful

The yellow bus was the cheapest (2-day ticket for all 4 routes). 12 euros per person is a real bargain. The first boarding with the electronic voucher is possible at all stations and you don't have to go looking for a "meeting point" to exchange tickets. You do that at one of the main stations, where a guide is on site. All staff are friendly and helpful. The buses are typically equipped. Seat belts are everywhere. In individual cases, the connections for the headphones did not work. In the off-season, however, there are still enough places available to find one that works. The breakpoints are easy to find, the yellow displays can be seen from afar. All timetables are easy to read. There may be slight delays due to traffic. However, these were only in the minute range, so that the connections still fit. In summary, everything was TOP!
