We went early and used the lesser known entrance, it was a steady incline and well worth the views! We felt the breeze while walking to the top. The way down is a lot easier than the way up. Do not recommend for wheelchair users or those who are unsteady on their feet - its very rocky and the steps dont always have hand rails.

We were on Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Acropolis and there was really not much going on, at 10 a.m. there were already a lot of tourists. The Parthenon is really impressive and imposing. However, you must not pose for a photo in front of any attraction in Athens. This is a bit annoying because you are often warned. But don't miss it.

Collecting the tickets was simple, the office is just minutes away from both venues. Spending a day on the Acropolis and slopes is a wonderful experience, really a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience for most. Then to visit the New Museum of the Acropolis puts it all together. Both great exhibits, so well connected historically.
