I recently booked a 2-day tour to visit both Meteora and the Oracle of Delphi, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless, with friendly and knowledgeable guides who made the trip both informative and stress-free. In Meteora, I was captivated by the beauty of the monasteries and enjoyed time for personal reflection in the serene surroundings. The visit to the Oracle of Delphi was equally inspiring, offering a deep connection to ancient wisdom in a powerful, sacred space. The balance of guided tours and personal time made the journey truly enriching. I left feeling inspired and refreshed. If you’re looking for a smooth and meaningful way to explore Greece’s spiritual heritage, I highly recommend Chat Tours!”
INCREDIBLE activity, must do if you have the chance from Athens! We ended our honeymoon with this activity and it was wondrous to explore the monasteries in Meteora. The drive up to see the monasteries was incredible because that is where you can fully appreciate the monasteries sitting on top of the stone formations. We had two different guides for our trip. Our guide to Delphi, PhiPhi was full of attitude and less enthusiastic. Our second guide to Meteora, George was fantastic. The four star hotel, Hotel Amalia, was one of the highlights. Remember to bring your swimsuits, but if you forget, there is a gift shop in the hotel that sells affordable swimsuits, and that are super cute. There was a breakfast and dinner buffet in the hotel, and those were incredible! The dinner felt like a combination between a gourmet chef, cooking all of Yia Yia’s (Greek Grandma) favourite dishes, it was a dance for my taste buds with everything from fish, beef, pork, chicken. Highly recommend!
