What people are saying about Aswan Governorate

The afternoon before our trip, we were contacted by the company and advised that the flight to Abu Simbel had been cancelled, presumably through no fault of the trip provider. However, it was odd that weather was given as the purported reason, and the weather was absolutely fine. In any event, we were going to cancel the trip, but the company offered to drive us to/from Abu Simbel with our guide (and provide us with a refund of the cost of the flight). After considering the lengthy trip, we still decided to go ahead do the car ride down to Abu Simbel. We appreciated the company offering this alternative option. We were ready for the pickup at the designated 4:30am pickup time, but the driver and guide were about 10 minutes late, which was not great as we were in an unfamiliar area. in any event, it worked out fine. Overall, we had a very nice trip with our guide and he was very helpful. The drive was pleasant, and went by relatively quickly. And Abu Simbel was amazing!

At Blue Shadow, very friendly staff who warm welcomes you and greets you everytime. Everybody paying attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Really felt at home. Our guide Ahmed has always keen to give detailed information and aswers every question. Really enjoyed it!
