Full description

Learn about the differences between conventional and organic wines during this tasting activity. Sample several delicious local kinds of cheese paired with organic wine.

Taste the wines from one of the oldest organic wineries in Assisi, where you will learn about its history and winemaking. See the fifty-year-old vineyards and enjoy a stroll through the grounds and olive groves.

During the tasting, learn the main differences between the organic and conventional winemaking process and taste 4 Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT organic wines, paired with different traditional plates, like warm bruschetta with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cheeses with jams and balsamic vinegar. As you sip on your wine, enjoy beautiful views of the valley and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

Our wine and cheese tasting was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was welcoming and explained each wine and food pairing. The portions were generous. We were allowed to take our time and enjoy the experience. The grounds are lovely and perfect for photos. We bought several wines and oils to take home and can't wait for them to arrive. Highly recommended!
