Scale the second highest mountain in Tanzania in this thrilling and challenging climb. Mount Meru, a dormant volcano that measures 4566 meters (14,979 feet) tall, is the perfect climb for those wanting a taste of high altitude trekking without going too high. Meru is centred in Arusha National Park, with fertile slopes that rise above the surrounding savannah and are home to a variety of wildlife, including nearly 400 species of birds, buffalos, leopards, giraffes and different species of monkeys. Day 1: Hotel to Momella gate to Miriakamba Hut Drive from Arusha or Moshi town to Momella Gate takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once at the gate we will finish all the procedures and depart for the trek. The trek takes you through places from where you can catch breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the renowned Momella lakes. Trekkers encounter wildlife like on this day, with an armed Park Ranger to protect against wild animal threats we will continue a short distance until we reach the Miriakamba hut. On the way, you can witness the stunning Meru crater, the ash cone, and little Meru. There are chances of us encountering wildlife like Cape Buffaloes and the black and white Colobus monkey. We will end the trek up at Saddle hut. Once you have settled at the camp we will set off on a short trek to little Meru (3810m) for acclimatization purpose and return to Saddle hut. Elevation: 2500m/8202ft to 3500m/11483ft Distance: 6km/3.5ml Hiking Time: 4-5 hours Day 3: Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Miriakamba Hut We wake up just after midnight and have a light meal to keep our energies high. Once done with the meal we start the final ascent to Socialist Peak. This ascent will be steep and we will be making our way through gravel and rocky cliffs. This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek. Once at the summit, you will enjoy the magnificent views of the Meru Crater and the Ash cone. There are chances that one might catch a glimpse of wildlife like mountain Reedbucks and Klipspringers over the rocky ridge. From the summit, we begin our descent by continuing straight down to the Miriakamba hut. Elevation: 3500m/11483ft to 4562m/14967ft down to 2500m/8202ft Distance: 19km/12ml Hiking Time: 10-12 hours Day 4: Miriakamba Hut to Momella gate After breakfast, we continue the descent down to the Momella Gate, we will change the route and take the southern route down hence the change in distance trekked on this day. We will also pass through the astonishing Fig tree Arch. Our vehicle will be waiting for you at Momella gate to drive you back to your hotel in Arusha (around 1 hour and 30 minutes). We will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and following a 2-3 hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. In this region, Hemmingway often went on big game hunting safaris. After the formation of the national parks in 1970, they turned the seasonal marshes and the endless savannah that one sees today into, once again, profitable hunting grounds. Today however, cameras thankfully have replaced the elephant guns. The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round in which the herds often can reach an impressive number of 300 animals. The Tarangire River has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river for drinking. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests and zebras as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles and with a little luck, you can also spot a python! This area is during the dry season also a haven for bird watchers with over 550 different species including the Masai Ostrich -the world largest bird. Around lunchtime, you will stop at a suitable picnic place before the afternoon is dedicated to more wildlife watching. Before sunset, you will be taken back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.

Day 1: Arusha - Serengeti National Park Start your safari and camping adventure with hotel pickup from Arusha in the morning. Drive to Serengeti National Park with your complimentary packed lunch. Take a game drive en route to the campsite. Discover Serengeti National Park, known for its abundance of animals and the great wildebeest migration. It's a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife and is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, eland, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and many birds, including Eurasia migrant birds. Have dinner and stay overnight in a tent at the Serengeti Wild Camp. Day 2: Full Day at Serengeti After breakfast, you will go on wide-ranging morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Your guide will locate the flocks of migrant birds and the herds. Spot carnivores like big cats and hyenas. See the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra in action. Learn about the park as you drive and see why the Maasai gave the park the name Serengeti, which means “endless plains”. Break for lunch and dinner at the campsite and spend one more night at Serengeti Seronera Campsite. Day 3: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Enjoy breakfast and check out of your accommodations before taking a game drive as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Crater. During the tour, there will be an optional visit to the Olduvai Gorge at an extra fee for the museum. Have dinner and spend the night at Ngorongoro Simba “A” Campsite.  Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Floor – Arusha Have an early breakfast and head to Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend to the crater floor for game drives. See flamingos on Soda Lake and geese, storks, and vultures in the surrounding area. Then, break for lunch at the scenic Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. After lunch, enjoy some final game viewing while ascending the crater. Finish your safari adventure with drop-off at your hotel in Arusha.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire Start your day with pickup from your hotel at 7:30 AM. After meeting your guide, chef, and other clients, begin your 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of Ancient Baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the entire country. Take part in a game drive through the park and try to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and others. Later on, go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals. After lunch, proceed with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 PM, where you will head to your accommodations for dinner and to spend the night. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater The Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife park known for its beautiful crater landscape and for being a prime spot to see wildlife. After an early breakfast at 6 AM, head to the Ngorongoro view point and admire the breathtaking view. Then, descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhinos, the hardest animals to spot in the crater. After lunch, take a game drive, ascend the crater, and return to your accommodations in Arusha.

On day 1, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town and driven to Tarangire National Park for a mid-morning game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you’ll be able to admire the views of seasonal swamps, grassy savannas and the Tarangire River.  Look out for many animals including zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants and giraffes. You may catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch. Enjoy further game viewing in the afternoon before driving to the Karatu area, where you will check into the Country Lodge hotel and enjoy dinner.  On day 2, enjoy breakfast at the lodge and depart with a packed lunch to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. It contains a river, several swamps, a lake, a forest and open plains. There are said to be over 30,000 animals living in the area that is naturally enclosed by the slopes of an old volcano. In the evening, enjoy dinner back at your hotel.  After breakfast on day 3, depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, home to a range of wildlife including baboons, blue monkeys, over 350 species of birds and tree-­climbing lions. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha or Arusha Airport.

Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and take a half day safari in Arusha National Park. After an early morning or midday hotel pickup, depending on your tour start time, enjoy the drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the famous national park.   Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife. Common animal sightings include giraffes, buffalo, zebra, warthogs, monkeys, flamingos, elephants, lions, and many. Leopard populations are present, but rarely seen.   Bird life in the forest is prolific, with many species more easily seen here than elsewhere. Narina trogon and bar-tailed trogon are both possible highlights for visiting birdwatchers, and there is a range of starling species. After your safari tour with a professional guide, you will be dropped back to Arusha town.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you and your safari will commence. You will drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park. This takes approximately 3 hours. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. The park covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. You will enjoy a day of game viewing, with a picnic lunch looking out over the river to break up the time in the car. After a nice game drive, before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. After breakfast the next day, you will drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area (NCA) - a UNESCO world heritage site. Once in the NCA you will see the Rift Valley and animals like elephant, buffalos, zebra, monkeys, and birds. The main feature of the NCA is the Ngorongoro Crater, a large, unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera. You will then enter the crater and witness a large concentration of wild animals. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as prides of lions. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a wide variety of water birds. Other game commonly sighted included cheetahs, hyenas, and lots of other members of the antelope family. After completing your drive, you will return back to Moshi or Arusha.

Enjoy a spectacular one-day trip to Lake Manyara, an alkaline lake and home to the endangered tilapia (Oreochromis amphimelas). The Lake Manyara National Park area is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, to the east. The national park only includes the northwest quadrant of the lake, about 200 km2, wildlife-viewing and an opportunity to learn about the everyday lives of Tanzanian villagers. On the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park is small, but it's diverse eco-systems pack in a huge variety of animal and bird life. It is rightly famous for its tree-climbing lions, but also for its boisterous baboons! A riot of color is provided by the bird life here and your day trip also includes a village tour of Mto wa Mbu. Set amidst phenomenal landscape, you search out the wildlife on the plains and in the acacia woodlands, not forgetting the shores of the shallow alkaline lake itself. Although this is a small park, with much of it underwater, it is a varied environment with characteristic fig and mahogany trees prevalent here. You might spot Lake Manyara's renowned tree-climbing lions, but you could easily find elephant, hippo, wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe, plus many other species. A splash of color will be added by the pink-hued flamingos, one of 400 bird species recorded here. Also present are spoonbills, stilts, egrets, pelicans, cormorants and yellow-billed storks.
