Sergio was an experienced driver and a great companion along the car ride to Arouca. He was really thoughtful with my husband’s allergies and made sure that his food & sweet were nut-free. 🥰 Our guide during the hiking was really knowledgeable about the geology and vegetation of the park. He was also taking some photos of the group so you can download it later. The whole trip is about 8-10kms hiking, mainly stairs going down with some uphills. There’s a beach and swimming spot at half way.

I enjoyed every moment of the trip. It was a good balance of physical activity and relaxing/sightseeing. It was interesting and suitable even for my 10 year son. Treveling in a small group was cosy and comfortable. Beautiful Aveiro and breathtaking Paiva. Unfortunatelly, I could not do Arouca bridge because of height fear, but even staying near it was a great feeling. Our driver and guide José was friendly, cheerful and supportive. He created a special pleasant mood during the whole day.
