It was a lovely trip - thanks to Katarina for being such a knowledgeable and warm guide! The melissani cave was enchanting and we enjoyed a stroll around Assos and lunch in Fiscardo. The only slight negative for me was that the coach seats didn’t have much leg room but I am very tall, driver Dimi was friendly and affable and we felt very safe. A wonderful day in beautiful Kefalonia - we are coming back next year!!

Please note that this tour is not suitable for cruise passengers due to time constraints. We recommend considering other options that better accommodate your schedule.
The boats at Lake Melissani are 12-person rowboats with a rower. Passengers might encounter crowds when boarding during the peak season in July and August.
The boat ride lasts around 10-15 minutes and includes entry into the cave. The duration may vary depending on the number of visitors waiting in line.
To preserve the natural environment and protect the site, swimming in the Lake is not allowed for visitors.
