Zakynthos: Marathonisi, Cameo Island and Keri Caves Tour

After a convenient pickup from your hotel, head to the small port of Agios Sostis on the southern shores of Zakynthos. Admire and pass the famous Cameo Island bridge and visit this small fairy tale piece of land to take the most amazing photos and enjoy a swim in this unique landscape. There is a small extra charge of 5€ if you want to enter the island. Next, board the glass-bottom boat and participate in some turtlespotting of these unique creatures Careta Careta, without disturbing them of course, along the way to Marathonisi, an exotic, green, and coincidentally turtle-shaped island. Relax with an hour of swim or snorkeling in the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. See where the endangered loggerhead sea turtles nest. Hop on the boat again towards the Keri Caves, carved by time, tides, and wind. Follow the coastline, admiring the white beaches, rock arches, forested hills, and enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea. Pass through the famous rock arch, Kamara. Stop for a 20-minute swim just outside the entrance to a vast cave. Climb back on board and head to the port where the minibus waits for you to lead you to the final stop at the award-winning Aristeon ecological olive oil press museum in Lithakia. Explore the history of olive oil making on the island with experts and taste-free local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Zakynthos: early morning Shipwreck,Blue Caves and view point

Explore the island's top beaches, including Navagio Beach, where you'll see a shipwrecked boat up close. Sail into caves and snorkel in the turquoise waters at Sfogio Beach. Finish with lunch at a local Greek restaurant. Begin with pickup from your accommodation. Enjoy the views of the olive groves, vineyards, the diversity of the landscape, the traditional village houses, the old churches, and the stunning panoramic views of the turquoise sea waters before arriving at Porto Vromi. From the small port, hop onboard the boat which is small enough to navigate within the caves. It will take about 20 minutes to sail along the west coast and reach Navagio Beach. Reach early at one of the most famous beaches of the island and enjoy the surroundings without the crowds. Although the beach is closed for safety reasons, because the area is still prone to landslides, the captain will go very close to the shore for you to snap some photos of the rusty hull of the commercial shipwreck, named, M/V Panagiotis, which grounded onshore in 1980 and lies in the middle of the white sandy beach. Then, head to the blue caves characterized by their vibrant sapphire color cast by the sunlight shimmering through the water and being reflected into the caves. Take about 20 minutes for swimming and snorkeling here. Cruise next to a secluded pebbled beach which is a characteristic sample of the natural beauty of Zakynthos, before heading along the coast to explore more caves. Arrive at the magnificent Poseidon cave. Next to it, there is a natural rock formation in which you can easily spot the stunning face of Poseidon, the god of the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. Hop into a minivan to travel to the viewpoint of the shipwreck. Walk along a short stony path leading out to the clifftop to a high promontory facing the sea. Capture stunning photos of the iconic shipwreck in the background. Then, there is a stop for lunch at a traditional Zakynthian family-run taverna near Anafonitria. Enjoy delicious home-cooked, traditional dishes with fresh homegrown vegetables and homemade wine. The last stop will be the 2000-year-old olive tree at Exo Chora. Admire one of the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean, and probably one of the oldest olive trees in the world. Afterward, relax on your return journey with drop-off at your accommodation.

Collection from our pick up location was on time. We had 30 minutes to explore Cameo Island by ourselves and then met with the bus driver who took us to our boat. The boat stayed by the port for around 15 minutes, whilst we looked out for the local turtles. We then moved on round Cameo Island and from there passed Marathonisi Island (turtle island) towards Keri Caves. The islands, caves coastline and water were stunning! We were then given the opportunity to swim by the coastline of Keri for around 20 minutes. We then headed back along the coastline towards Marathonisi Island, where we were shown some more magical caves. From here we then had a 1 hour stay on Marathonisi Island where we could relax on the beach, swim in the sea or explore the island. From here we returned to the bus driver who took us to the Olive Press Factory. We had a small talk before heading in to view the process, taste and purchase the product. (It was only a short stay, but a fantastic stop). Thank you.

Really recommended. The guide could give a bit more information about what you see, but the tour is a beautiful experience. Luckily we also spotted turtles. Because that's what we went for!

Everything was well thought out, time management was great, driver very nice, pick up on time directly at the hotel

Great trip for families, great, friendly transfer with Dali Tours. Everything was perfect, thank you very much!!

Super nice team and great boat tour! We actually saw turtles 😍🐢
