From Cozumel: Express Tour to Tulum Mayan Ruins
- Duration: 6 hours
They picked us up at the security cabin of our hotel at 7:40am (after 15min late), then the driver dropped us off at "meeting point" near Tulum and said to do a check-in. There was a huuuuge line that took easily 40min, and after that we got a bracelet and had to find "our guide". He seemed a little lost to find all people of our group (24 in total). So we had to wait all these 24 people arrive from all different places of Riviera Maya, do the check-in then take the van to the 1st destination... To conclude, we arrived in Tulum at 9:50am (over 2hrs after we were picked up) already tired and frustrated with the disorganization. What stressed me more is that the description of the tour doesn't mention at anytime about this "meeting point" and that would take 1:30h more than our time for nothing (just waiting...)
If you want to get lots checked off your bucket list this is the #1 tour for you! History of the ruins in Tulum ✅. A cave swim 6m into the earth and if you choose..... engulf yourself in darkness for 1 minute of meditation. To end the day, swimming with turtles! What more could one ask for?
The tour was good, though I felt the visit to the Tulum ruins was a bit short, despite the additional 20 minutes we had that I was not aware of.
