Overnight Jinka Day3,Morning after breakfast excursion to a Mursi village (approx 66km from Jinka).They live in the mago national park. You will be able to meet the Mursi. They are renowned for wearing large lip plates!! and ear lobe plates. Mursi men drink blood more than eating meat,because they dont need to kill their cow to harvest the blood. They take blood from the cow, by making a hole in the vane with a small arrow, then they stop the blood from running with their traditional medicine! The cows wound heals very fast! You will see when mursi man take his breakfast from his own cow.

Day 1 Fly to Arba Minch On the first day of the tour,you will depart from Bole International Terminal 1 at 7:40 am & arrive in Arba Minch at 8:45 am.Our driver & guide will be waiting for you at the airport. After having breakfast and a coffee break,we will drive down to Arba Minch ( the fourty springs) and visit the crocodile market.Then,we will take a boat trip on Lake Chamo,which is known as the most productive lake in Ethiopia.you will have the opportunity to see hippos,some of the largest crocodiles in Africa & prey birds. After the boat trip,we will have a Lunch. Afterward,we will drive to the Dorze village,where you can see the traditional Dorze beehive-shaped huts that are recognized by UNESCO as visually attractive.drive back to Arba Minch for the overnight stay. Day 2: Arbaminch to Konso village After breakfast,we will drive to Konso & have a lunch break. In Konso,we will visit one of the nine UNESCO registered villages.The Konso people are known for erecting stones & poles called generation poles,which are raised every 18 years to mark the start of a new generation. The age of a village can be determined by the number of poles that are still standing.After the visit,we will drive to Turmi for the overnight stay. Day 3 Drive to Kara village & Turmi activities After breakfast,we will drive to Kara Village, where the Kara tribe resides.The Kara people live along the east banks of the Omo River they are known for their beautiful big villages & the traditional painting of faces and bodies by the children. After the visit,we will drive back to Turmi for a lunch break. In the afternoon,if we are lucky,we might witness a unique event called bull jumping,which is a ceremony where a boy is pronounced a "man" after jumping over 5 to 13 cattle standing in a row. Alternatively,if there is no bull jumping,we will visit a Hamer village in the afternoon.At night,we will enjoy a colorful party with Evan Gady dance,also known as the night dance. Day 4 Drive to Dassanch tribe village and Jinka In the morning,we will drive to Omorate & cross the great Omo River with a local boat to visit the Dassanech tribe. After the visit,we will drive back to Turmi for a lunch break & then proceed to Dimeka town,where the Hamer,Beena & Kara tribes hold their weekly market day.If there is no bull jumping event on Friday,there is a higher chance of witnessing it on this day.If there is no bull jumping,we will drive to Jinka,if you're not tired,you can visit the Jinka museum in the late afternoon. Day 5 Drive to Mursi village and fly back to Addis Early in the morning, we will drive to the Mursi village,where you can observe the unique traditions of this minority tribe living in the Lower Omo Valley.The women of the Mursi tribe are known for wearing large clay plates in their lips as a form of decoration,while the men are known for painting different patterns on their bodies.
