Explore the wonders of the Appia Antica in the most economical and healthy way — on board a new electric bicycle. Lunch will be provided, as you spend a whole day experiencing the beautiful nature of Rome.
What to Expect
Admire Rome's natural surroundings between the ancient monuments and pines; take it all in as you explore the Appian Way by e-bike.
The Tomb of Caecilia Metella ("Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella"), Capo di Bove, Santa Francesca Romana (previously known as the Santa Maria Nova) and the Villa of the Quintilii are just some of the sights to admire along the Via Appia.
The e-bikes are perfect for cyclists of all abilities; it is not necessary to have experience or a driving license. The e-bike is simple and easy to drive, and is ideal to avoid moving slowly and with difficultly on steeper pathways.
You can choose from three different speeds (low, medium and high) while cycling around the city. The battery ranges from 40 to 60 kilometers.
All necessary equipment and a packed lunch will be provided.
