Upper Rock Walking Tour

Upper Rock Walking Tour

Details of the Upper Rock Walking Tour The duration of the Tour is in the region of 3 - 4 hours and we proceed at a leisurely pace set by the participants as we walk up the Rock. There will be numerous photo opportunities along the route. You will get the chance to see some stunning views and many of the historical military sites that are found in the Upper Rock. I can take you to places that you would not usually visit if you go up by taxi or mini bus and I guarantee that you will always see some of Gibraltar’s world famous Monkeys. The paths along the Upper Rock can be a little uneven therefore we recommend you wear suitable shoes and that you also bring along a bottle of water, because it can get quite hot in the summer months. The current price to enter the Nature Reserve and all the attractions is £25.00 for Adults, for Children (5 - 11) the price is £11.00, and they now insist on a Card / Contactless payment. We do not always enter the Great Siege Tunnels or the WW2 Tunnels, however if you would like to please message me so this can be arranged. You will need to allow extra time to visit them.

Overall rating

Guide Carlos is a well-oiled machine! Which is very handy in our group with over twelve nationalities and passing through EU and EU-border and back. We booked the rock tour and we fully recommend it. Especially if you have Louis as our guide! With the rock tour you get the most out of your day in Gibraltar. With Francisco as our skilfully driver and a new coach it was one of our best experiences. Gibraltar is full of history and with this tour you’ll get the cliff’s notes on all the various cultures. As the cherry on top, we were happy it did not rain compared to the past few/ all our days in Málaga.

The experience matched the description, but I would have liked to spend more time at Europa Point and at the Apes Den. We only stayed for 15 minutes each, took some photos and went back. After the Rock tour, we had 3h of free time, but that's too much for the main street of Gibraltar.

Alex was a fantastic guide, so informative and interesting- he added so much to the overall trip

Great tour. Could have been an hour longer. Guide Daniel very nice!

was a well organised whistle stop tour if you are on a short trip .
