What to Expect
Visit three unique and distinct towns along the watershed of lake Atitlan and discover the heart of Guatemalan culture. Your journey begins in Panajachel where you will board a boat and visit Mayan villages and spend approximately an hour in each village exploring.

Each village is distinct in its architecture and diversity:

San Juan la Laguna -  known for  the murals on the walls of its  houses, and the indigenous women’s  arts and handicrafts & natural dye cooperatives.

San Pedro la Laguna is a Mayan village where locals and foreign residents from many countries share the same streets.

Santiago Atitlán is a very colorful town  and  famous because is the only town that is named the same as the lake.

You will then visit the well-known attraction the Maximon’s Cofradía (RILAJ MAM;) a venerated deity by the locals and visitors and will enjoy a visit to the  Santiago Apóstol Parish Church, built in the colonial period in the renaissance style where you can see the religious artifacts and practices of the locals.
