Picked up at my hostel and we drove to the volcano. It's a very popular attraction, and all along the road there were horses walking up and down. It was a great group and a beautiful day, and overall was a lot of fun. We were not allowed to walk up to the crater. Overall a guide was not necessary for this activity, as it is a very clear path to the volcano and a very clear path back.

This is a good value excursion to a Volcano area. On time pickup, a friendly engaged guide despite my lack of Spanish, a well covered tour and on time drop off. The climb is reasonably tough but anyone reasonably fit can do it. The track is rough and rocky so wear good boots. The Getyourguide people were very good and efficient.
This was probably the most challenging thing I have done but also the most incredible experience I have ever had! Just a word of advice to take the following: wet wipes, tissues, head lamp (or torch) for early morning summit, hiking poles (they make such a difference) and obliviously warm clothing (it gets freezing at night).
The tour operator didn’t send me details like the voucher said so I was a little but unsure, but they picked me up and on time. The tour is quite easy (although it requires a certain level of fitness) and very pretty. Very friendly guide and group and beautiful landscapes!
