Spend a day exploring the small but charming UNESCO-listed city of Antigua Guatemala with a private guide just for your group. Your guide will be at approximately 9:30 AM at your centrally located hotel in Antigua Guatemala. Start your morning by visiting the colorful Central Park, the main plaza of the city. From there, explore the remains of the Antigua Guatemala Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church originally built around 1541.

Take some time to wander the cobblestone streets, passing by beautiful Spanish Baroque-inspired architecture and charming storefronts until you reach the famous “Calle del Arco”, the perfect spot to take some colonial pictures. Get into the ruins of covenants to learn about their secret passages and history.

Then, visit a jade factory and storefront, a chocolate factory and storefront, as well as the House of Rum. Finish off your day by exploring the handicraft market, where you can appreciate some traditional national products and pick up some souvenirs.
