Full description
Spend a full day exploring the small but charming UNESCO-listed city of Antigua Guatemala with a private guide just for your group.

After pickup at around 8:00 AM at your centrally located hotel in Guatemala City, take a 2-hour journey to the city of Antigua Guatemala. Start your morning by visiting the colorful Central Park, the main plaza of the city. From there, explore the remains of the Antigua Guatemala Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church originally built around 1541. Take some time to wander the cobblestone streets, passing by beautiful Spanish Baroque-inspired architecture and charming storefronts until you reach the famous “Calle del Arco”, the perfect spot to take some colonial pictures.

Then, the tour breaks for lunch, giving you the chance to try one of Antigua’s wide variety of international and local restaurants.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit a jade factory and storefront, a chocolate factory and storefront, as well as the House of Rum.
